A man was detained under the mental health act and taken to hospital after an incident in Ledbury.
West Mercia Police were called to the Esso garage in The Homend at about 11pm last night (Tuesday, July 4).
A spokesperson said officers were responding to a “concern for welfare”.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing police at the petrol station late last night and that the road was blocked off for a short time.
