A WOMAN is in a stable condition after being hit by a train in Hereford.
Emergency services, including British Transport Police (BTP), West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the city's railway station yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
A BTP spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Hereford station at 2.56pm on 27 August following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended and a woman was taken to hospital where she is in a stable condition. The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
Services were temporarily suspended while the emergency services dealt with the incident. However, by 4.30pm, passengers were allowed back on the platform.
