A police dog has helped detain a man suspected of stealing a dumper truck near Ledbury.
West Mercia Police said PD Tess and her handler spotted the vehicle, which had been reported stolen, with two suspects on board.
“They abandoned and ran,” said a spokesperson. “PD Tess was quickly deployed and detained one of the males.”
The force has been highlighting the work of its police dogs recently, and even saw PD Gremlin and her handler PC Simeon Darrall-Jones appear on the BBC’s Crimewatch Live last week.
