The restoration of Ledbury War Memorial has been completed in time for the Remembrance weekend.

Ledbury Town Council said it would like to thank Ian Bishop and his team, and Caroe and Partners for their expertise and dedication to making sure the war memorial was restored to such a high standard.

Meanwhile, the fallout from a previous botched restoration job continues to rumble on.

A blessing of the war memorial will be held at 10.45am on Armistice Day (Saturday, November 11), ahead of a short Service of Remembrance, which all are invited to attend.

A Service of Remembrance will also be held at the war memorial on Sunday, November 12.

Members of the public are invited to join the Royal British Legion and Ledbury Town Council from 10.40am. This will be followed by a service in St Michael & All Angels and light refreshments at the British Legion Club in Church Street.

The High Street will be closed for the duration of the Remembrance Service on Sunday.
