EASTNOR III v ALMELEY.
EASTNOR thirds held out for a draw against new league leaders Almeley.
Dave Goodman got the villagers off to a good start by bowling Clayton with the score on 12 before Priday (67), Williams (27) and Jones (45) pushed on.
Three wickets from stand-in captain John Taylor, a run-out and a good catch from David Preece off Goodman saw a final total of 206-6.
Eastnor's batting started and continued slowly.
After losing an early wicket, Goodman and Dave Entwistle, both 14, took the total on to 32 before Clayton claimed them both.
A few lusty blows from Jack Vernall (26) took the score on to 69-5, before Taylor 14no and Sam Keatch 21no held out for the final 20 overs for the draw.
The final score was 107-5, but a valuable six points was picked up by the club.
An under-strength Eastnor seconds proved no match for Stourport in division three.
After losing the toss, Tom Hurrell (52) held the Eastnor innings together, they were all-out for 125 with just seven balls to go.
The Stourport openers knocked off the runs in 25 overs, to win by ten wickets.
