Sophie jumps to national finals

COLWALL’S Sophie Stratton has qualified for the British Show Jumping Association (Scope) National Finals at Staffordshire Showground later this month.

The 12-year-old has been competing since she was six and had to win two national competitions to get to this stage.

The Malvern St James student is based at Newtons Farm (Pony Club) in Putley, near Ledbury.

Sophie rides an Arab Grey horse called King Vean Scintillation, or ‘Jazz’.
