Jedi race ace Impey in good show despite car

RACING sensation Katherine Impey crossed the line at Brands Hatch in a credible 11th position after her car had developed clutch problems.
Katherine, who competes in a pink 160 horsepower Suzuki engined Jedi Mk 6 used the force to finish in the 18-strong race field last weekend.
She is now looking forward to put in a better showing at her next race of the Formula Jedi Championship at Cadwell Park on Friday, September 5.
The previous week she had come out on top, winning the 2008 Monoposto Club Championship at Oulton Park after winning pole position, 1.4 seconds ahead of leader Steve Cave.
Due to funding issues, Impey is not able to fight for the championship this season but is instead taking part in selected rounds in both the Monoposto and Formula Jedi Championships.
