A FIRE has led to public toilets in a Herefordshire car park to temporarily close.
Two fire engines were called to the Red Meadow car park in Kyrle Street, Ross-on-Wye shortly before 4.15pm yesterday (May 7).
The fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet. Solar panels were also isolated.

There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
Ross Town Council has said the toilets are closed today (May 8).
Earlier yesterday, a crew from Hereford was called to a vehicle fire on the B4224 in Hampton Bishop.
A small van was found to have an arcing battery shortly after 2.10pm, which was removed and isolated using electrical tape. There were no casualties with no other emergency services attending.
Then at just before 6.30pm, firefighters were called to an out of control bonfire in Greyfriars Avenue, Hereford. The fire, which involved around four metres of hedgerow, was tackled using a hose reel jet.
The crew left the scene at around 7pm.
